Perry's Construction has grown from a small Tignish contracting company, started in 1960 by founder Johnny
Perry, to a diversified international company run today by son
Harley. Continuing to meet the needs of Western P.E.I. and
beyond, the company specializes in innovative insulated concrete
form systems, commercial buildings, potato warehouses, ready mix
and residential construction.
Harley Perry learned the ins and outs of the construction
business while employed at Perry's, taking over in 1995 with the
passing of his father. The 1990s brought many changes to the
company, one of which included the decision to offer an
alternative method of construction, insulated concrete form
systems for potato storage, residential and commercial
applications.
The company, based in Tignish, with concrete mixing plants located in Summerside
and Tignish,
has built a reputation Island-wide for completing quality
structures.
In 2001 Perry's completed our first international project - a condominium development in Bermuda,
while a three-year project in Russia
was completed in 2003 - a biotechnology centre, potato warehouses and a sugar
beet storage facility.
The
Perry's Construction crew brings this international experience to all
projects, whether applied locally in Atlantic Canada or while
working abroad. |

Harley Perry - President/General Manager
Harley started with the company back in the early 70's,
after tagging along with dad since he was a very young
age. Harley has worked in all areas of construction:
light labour duty, truck driver, equipment operator, carpenter, foreman, supervisor, estimator and
now as the owner/manager. With the passing of his dad,
John, in 1995, Harley took full control of the company.
In today's ever-changing world, companies must diversify and expand in order to survive. Harley has
done just this by pursuing new innovations
and worldwide contracts to expand the company's stature as
a true survivor.
David Landry - CET-Project
Manager/Estimator
David joined the company in 2001. David brings a wealth of
construction knowledge to the company, as project manager
and estimator.
Carl Perry - Office Manager
Carl started working with us in April of 1974. In over 30
years with the company he has loyally kept vigilance over
the company's finances, concrete division and all office
and accounting procedures.
